I'm looking to purchase a new desktop computer, with 3 main criteria.
1) Under $1000
2) At best, Windows XP is inbox OS, but if it comes with Vista, someone please assure me it will work! I have experience with Vista, and it mostly entails ripping my own eyes out.
3) I'm looking for a decent gaming computer. Not Crysis on High Settings, but I really want to get into Sims 3/War Strategy Games. My own research has yielded The HP Firebird 802 Desktop, which seems like what I'm looking for.
So, suggestions anyone? I don't really expect to do piecemeal upgrades, like new graphic cards, ect, so I want it to be as strong out of the box as possible. Thanks.
