Win XPSP3,Outlook email.

by Leroi82 - 7/6/09 8:58 AM

Son sent CD with wedding photos. Once downloaded, the following notice appeared, and reappears on computer screen every 20-25 seconds. How can I remove this?

"Picture successfully saved as:
CUME~1\Roy\LOCALS~1\Temp\MyPicture1;" Thanks for any help. Leroi82

Not Sure How You Send A CD Through Outlook Email?

by Grif Thomas Moderator - 7/6/09 12:05 PM In reply to: Win XPSP3,Outlook email. by Leroi82

Please be a little clearer about EXACTLY what you have done.. Did you receive an email with picture files as attachments? Or...Did you receive a CD (Compact Disc) in your physical mailbox with picture files on it?

If you downloaded pictures from the internet using Microsoft Outlook as your mail client, did you copy those attachments to your desktop, somewhere else? Where are those pictures downloaded to? (Maybe the "Temp" folder indicated?) Have you tried clearing out the Temp folder indicated and copying the attachements to another location on the computer?

Tried creating a folder on your desktop and copying all attachments there, then deleting the email?

Or if the picture files are on a compact disc, why do you need to copy them to the hard drive at all?

Hope this helps and let us know more.

Grif
