about these 4 cards?
ATI HD 4570
ATI HD 3650
ATI HD 3670
Nvidia 9600M GT

Easy way to find them: to find reviews about X google REVIEW X.

A much recommended site for reviews: tomshardware.com

I have been going in circles saw the benchmarks at notebookcheck.com and i am just confused
Some where i read that the ati is not so good because it is 64 bit and nvidia is 128
that is why i just laid the info down here from the processor to the sound card so i can get some good advice and i know the sound doesn't really help in the performance but just to let you guys know.
So looking at the full configuration of the laptop to find out which 1 will be the best
But the main focus would be the BEST GRAPHIC CARD

The best at what?

If you have read Tomshardware and benchmarks you find that a winning card would not win at all the benchmarks.

That is, to play SWOOM the ATI x9 would win. Next you play QUAM and the NVIDIA Neg7 would win the benchmark.

-> Here's what to do. Pick one that is in the top five. You will forever be comparing if you try for the best.

if in comparison in 3d mark 05 between the ATI GPU'S ATI (Mobility Radeon HD 3670) is the winner
And the 3d mark 05 for the NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT was higher but was done on a 1gb card rather than a 512 so i can't really say anything about.
I just want my GTA4,LEFT 4 DEAD,DEAD SPACE,COD4,5 or the new which will be coming out soon to run on it not on high setting but like mix of low and med settings.

yeah the next question bit isn't really helping.
I am sure it a silly comparison for you but i don't think i would spend 1200 bucks and then regret it.

Let me answer the question.

When you go to the Kentucky Derby, ALL the contenders are winners.

Also you must know that next year they may not be back. The same is true here. You would spend months poring over the benchmarks and pick the winner or best. Then next week a new machine shows up that is faster in some way.

-> You are over analyzing and have picked winners.

Now for the really tough part.

Have you owned a 17 inch laptop before? I have and found them a bit too big for travel. My last 17 incher ended up being replaced with a 15.4 inch model and my brother whose laptop died got the 17.

The 16 inch may be that happy middle ground but go find these sizes before you decide.

Well the Dell xps 16 looks nice but i get more stuff in the dell studio 15(blu ray drive,a little better gpu(according to what i found) and it is a bit cheaper to.
I won't mind carrying a heavy laptop.. but There is no good 16 or 17 inch laptop out here.
