Hoping for some help with our new LN52A750. Plugged in my USB with some JPEGs, ran some quick trials, then added a bunch of images sized to 16:9 to the USB in some new folders (file structure Document/Pictures/xxxx). Snag: a bunch of the files originally on the USB but now deleted (using Vista/64) are still showing up when I use WiseLink to view the images. Does this system copy the images to its own flash memory and if so how can I delete them? Or, perhaps it's not reading and understanding the files are marked 'deleted' in the usb file directory? Any suggestions on how to rectify this would be appreciated. (posted by JB. I just got the exact same issue - cannot remove files from the TV flash).
kaozhang,
Thanks for your support of Samsung products.
The data may still be on the thumbdrive, and since it was accessed prior, the television may still see the file (since deleting a file doesn't necessarily "delete" it, but makes it inactive). The best way to actually delete the file is to either wash the free space on the drive using a scrub program, or to format it.
I'm not sure there is a way to clear out the memory in the television, per se. I'll check on this Monday so that I have a complete, accurate answer.
In the meantime, I would say that formatting the thumbdrive will keep those old files from reappearing, and I'll explain further when I get some clarification.

kaozhang,
Okay, I have an updated answer.
The television has a cache memory where it stores previously loaded files for quick loading and display. What is happening is while you are loading the new (or current pictures), the television might temporarily display images from the cache. Once the television is done loading (which may take some time), it should only display the current images on your thumbdrive.

Got a scrub program following your directions. They are gone.
kaozhang,
Good to hear.
If it does happen in the future, it's likely because the images may be temporarily in the television's memory. Just wait until they're finished loading, and the "non-existant" pictures will indeed be "non-existant".
Thanks for the follow-up, and let me know if we can help further.
