Bad CCD on Panasonic Lumix FX55 camera?

by cliphy - 7/2/09 8:54 PM

I've had this Panasonic Lumix FX55 camera for about 2 years and recently noticed that there is a sort of swirly "burn mark" on the LCD and also ALL of my images. Of course, it's happened in the middle of my vacation here in Thailand. :-(

See examples:

Did I somehow fry the CCD imager and is there anything I can do, short of buying a new camera? I tried cleaning the lenses and anything else I could think of...

Thanks!

visit Fotofile at MBK Center, Siam Square, on 1st floor for assistance. Also, you can visit www.fotofile.net for details. Not sure whether it's CCD or dirty lenses. Good luck.
