reformatting eMachine but cd/dvdrom doesn't work.
by rkdog - 7/2/09 6:22 PMI have aan emachine thaat is about 4 years old and it is always stopping and starting over. I want to run the recover disc but it only recognizes music discs. So I can't even reboot from the cd/dvdrom. How do I reformat?

Sadly you fix the machine first.

Try a new cd/dvdrw drive first.
