Powerpoint to Multiple TVs

by calstate3 - 7/1/09 12:07 PM

Want to display a powerpoint presentation on 3 different tvs.
Not sure how to begin this.
Should I use one PC and broadcast it out to the tvs..What equipment is needed there? Any suggestions would be great!

They will likely have some type of breakout box you can employ to go to multiple monitors/TVs. Frys is another options if you have one where you live. The PC/laptop will have to have VGA/video out for starters.
What the actual breakout box will have may vary, but will have to have the same types of connectors as the TVs you intend on connecting to. S-Video may be one of the options.

So if I come out of the computer as S video I should be able to get an amplifer they will have multiple s video ports that I can connect to the tvs through? Any idea the quality of S video or something better?

I can't see why you would need anything better than S-Video for typical Powerpoint content. The radio shack folks will be able to assist w/ this usually. I've had good luck on various projects like this where I've wanted something rather quickly to employ. Fry's (etc.) may have a better selection of PC accessories however.
