Firefox 3.5 upgrade FAIL !!!

I just upgraded to Firefox 3.5
Now when I run Firefox, a dialog box says to restart Firefox.
I run Firefox again and a dialog box says to restart Firefox.
It's caught in a loop.
Firefox tech support web list nothing about this cure.
SO do I uninstall and lose all my links and add-ons or wait for the cure??

Load Firefox Safe-Mode.
In Start > All Programs > {the folder where Mozilla Firefox is}, select "Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode)".
If FF loads correctly, see if you can save your Bookmarks. Bookmarks > Organize bookmarks > Import and Backup, then export to HTML.
If FF Safe Mode fails to load, then it seems your only course is to uninstall. If you are using Windows, perhaps System Restore can help there.
