Mac OS and Virtual Box questions

by lightningboy7 - 6/25/09 1:21 PM

I recently started playing with Virtual Box. If you don't know virtual box is software that allows you to install and boot and operating system without leaving your current operating system.

I found out that you can install OS X in virtual box if you want. I was wondering that if I decided to get a legal copy of OS X and install it in virtual box, would it violate any Apple OS X terms of service, warrantees or anything like that.

machine, you should have no problems.

Running OS X on a Non-Apple produced machine will certainly violate the EULA

VirtualBox and OS X

Yes, running OS X in VirtualBox would most likely break the EULA. To install OS X in a VirtualBox VM would require a modified copy of OS X similar to one that you would use on another other computer besides a Mac.
