Can't find infrared driver in Bootcamp
by taoman1 - 6/24/09 12:35 AMI've set up Bootcamp on my Macbook Pro with Leopard. After installing the Bootcamp drivers all the hardware works except the infrared. Everytime I boot into Windows it finds the "new" hardware, the infrared, and can't find a driver to make it work. I've done a Repair in Bootcamp but it still doesn't work. Help!

From memory, no IRDA.

The Macbook has Infrared support, but its merely a receiver, much like that on your DVD player. IRDA, the infrared protocol for exchanging data is not implemented on the MacBook.
