Laptop repair?

There are so few parts to replace in a laptop so you make a list and replace from what you suspect. I work that list from cheapest to the point where I decide it's too costly then get a new laptop.

Your post told no age of the machine or if it's all banged up from years of life in transit. Age matters since I'm replacing CMOS BATTERIES (no I will not name the other twenty names it is called) with one in twenty good results. Your post tells too little.
