We all had the gut feeling that it was too high of a judgment. That sums it up.
and go home with their tail between their legs. I understand its got to be exhausting to have taken it this far. I really hope some non profit group for justice will pick this up and take the case up the chain of command to get this kind of scapegoating struck down. We certainly don't need precedents like this on the books.

funds to take the case to the next level. Jammie Thomas is just a pawn in the record industries game. They will never get any real money from her and they know it. This is just a political ploy to get a precedent on the books that supports their view that songs are somehow worth 80,000 dollars a piece.
Its a cynic abuse of the court system on the part of the RIAA. Therefore it needs to be struck down by a higher court.
