I sent an email to "mp3indsider@cnet.com" but i never heard back. So I'll ask u guys what i asked in the email:
I am looking for a new pair of earbuds for my iPod for $100 or less. I am considering the Shure SE115 or Shure SE110, but I was wondering if there was any other recommendations you have. I am looking for earphones that are sound-isolating and have fairly good bass. I noticed on one of my songs on my iPod, “Another One Bites the Dust” by Queen, which is heavy on bass, doesn’t sound very good with the included Apple earphones, even with the “bass booster” EQ setting turned on, which is my reasoning for wanting earphones with good bass.
Also, I was wondering if there are any recommendations for adapters that have the playback controls (play/pause, skip, etc.) on the headphones for under $30. I am considering the Griffin SmartTalk, but since it’s not widely available and there are absolutely no reviews on CNET, I wasn’t sure if it was any good or not, or if there were better options available.
These are suppose to be good for under $100 http://reviews.cnet.com/headphones/klipsch-image-s4-earphones/4505-7877_7-33577358.html
I use Shure SE210, which I like a lot, though they cost more than you are looking for.
wow...i didn't see that...i'll really have to look into those - if they earned an editors' choice award, then they've got to be great. thanks for linking me to that!!!
