Does Microsoft update X.P. If not, what is being sent to X.P. users, and by who? We are still being offered updates, supposedly from Microsoft.
Yes Microsoft offers updates for Windows XP every 2nd Thursday of the month, (or it could be every 3rd).
If you use Microsoft's Windows Defender anti-spyware utility, then it can receive updates at any time.
Can you explain your problem more?

Yes, I forget the exact date when Microsoft will officially give XP a burial at sea, but it will still be a number of years yet. I want to say 2013 is the final cutoff date, but that could very easily be extended like they did with Windows 2000, and I think even NT4 before that.
...are available every 2nd TUESDAY of the month.
Win XP is currently in the "extended support" phase, which ends April 8 2014

Thank you. Now I will turn on my Windows updates.
My error, and thanks for giving the correct day.
I couldn't think of the term used, (Patch Tuesday), and Googling XP Update Thursday and similar didn't find any useful results. Now I know why! ![]()
