Or "I listen to the first coule minutes and if Natali is on then I delete because I know it's going to be bad".
Some people just have a drum to beat and they are not going to let their rhythm be affected by logic, common sense, or the even the possibility of change.
There is a reason people don't go to Pauly Shore movies....

My sense of the posts that I was referencing was that the people seemed to be offerering it as evidence--"I fast-forwarded because I knew they were bad, so that proves they were bad or else I would have listened"--circular-type silliness. They may not have been meant that way (and I don't know if you wrote any of the ones I'm talking about so I'm not intending to be personal here), but they came across that way to me.
Non-hater explination
by UKMatt3 - 5/21/09 10:56 AM In reply to: No, not really by ivanthehitmanFirst of all, I've been listening every day since BEFORE Veronica. 2005 I think is when I subscribed, and I've probably listened to 98%+ of the episodes. It's very much part of my daily routine.
I love the show, but I really don't think Natali is a good fit.
First, and NOT AT ALL BECAUSE SHE'S A FEMALE, I don't think she's nearly as well versed in technology as any other host or co-host, and I think at times that becomes very clear.
Second, she seems to be trying to step into somewhat leading BOL, which, (not to imply anyone is better than the others) has tended to be Tom's place. (I'm mainly thinking of segues and getting us back on topic.) Hopefully this isn't a future plan to phase Tom out, because Tom is the awesome. My point in this is only that she's trying to force her way in. When V and Jason joined, they slowly found their nich, and grew into that role, keeping the chemistry fully intact.
I'm not at all anti-Natali. I think she'd be great as a general population technology translator, but I really think the BOL audience is left wanting with her as one of the regular hosts. To be perfectly honest, without a regular cast, and with Natali in my opinion changing and/or hurting the show, I've been considering unsubscribing for a while.
Feeling full after listening to BOL

In fact, the only episode that I felt really bored was episode 978: Blue screen of payment. Wow was that episode really dull, and it didn't have Natali in it. I really enjoy listening to her since she brings some sort of cheery tune to the show.
Plus, can someone give examples of Natali interrupting other hosts? because I don't understand that complaint. Maybe I don't notice it.
Hopefully, I would finally be played on the show if more of the people complaining unsubscribe. Love the show!

I guess you can touch the monitor, but that's feeling the monitor not Natali. Maybe haptic feedback was installed, we can feel Natali. Until then we can only watch and listen to her.

I've enjoyed the show for about a year and a half, but as of late, it seems to be going downhill fast ever since Molly left. Natalie seems to be pulling the show off topic too much, and seems uninformed. I'm going to keep a eye on BOL to see if it improves, but for now I'm listening to Leo Laporte's Podcasts and Geek News Central....

I've dropped BOL from subscription and just check in a time or two a week to see if it's any better. I love the episodes where Natali isn't there. She was fine as a once a week guest, but can't hang with the others as a regular host.
Nothing proved this more than when Molly and Tom were both gone a month or so back and Natali was left to run the show. They were some of the worst episodes I've heard in the 18 months that I've been listening. If I want uninformed opinions, I'll talk to my non-tech friends. I tune into BOL for news, trends and informed opinions. I would love for Natali's agent to get her a job that takes her away from CNET. The fact that I know she has an agent is pathetic...who else on the show wastes time talking about their agent or the meetings that they arean't allowed to talk about?
She's insecure

I believe this will be a more balanced set up, we will see/hear more Molly, and more of everybody else. YAY!
