Creating the appropriate chart for this input?

by mike62 - 6/11/09 8:16 AM

What would you suggest that is relatively simple to use either amongst my Office products or free to create this chart?

I just need basic bars I guess. I have 12 employees and each have for example 10 areas they are responsible for. I would like to compare all employees at a glance with the 10 areas they are responsible for.

For instance: John Doe Value A=10 Value B=2 Value C=5 etc...
Bob Jones Value A=3 Value B=1 Value C=9 etc...

Listing each employee and the bars would show who is high, low, etc.

Any suggestions?

I would put the 12 employees along the x-as, and the 10 areas for along the y-as, using 10 different symbols (and 10 lines to connect the 10 items from a set). I think it's called a line chart.

Excel would be fine to make it.
