No.5 did you mean to say 'hard drive' instead of 'hard disk'. I'm learning so perhaps just didn't understand. - Maryalice
I am burning my LP.s to my hard drive and then to a CD..The music
will play on my computer cd player, but will n ot play on the home
player.. Thanx LE
I have no problem recrding the LP's to the computer. I can play the CD on the computer's drive. However, I cannot get the CD's to play on my stereo unit or my car's stereo. What am I doing wrong and hoe do I correct it?
1. Are you making an AudioCD?
2. Read http://www.cdrfaq.org/faq04.html#S4-23
An ad for the Crosley Composer CD Recorder reads "In a few simple steps you can turn LPs, 45s, even 78s into easy-to-play CDs." It runs over $300. Do machines of this genre work well or is it a lot of money for a machine that gives unsatisfactory results? Would like to know.
looking to get a easy solution for my mom (74).
looks simple BUT
Want to make sure it is as simple as it states.
Grateful for any input.
Thanks in advance.

how to record cd from lp
I recently bought an Audacity to burn LP.s to CD. It will play on my
Computer but will not play on my home player. I am very new at this
and would like very much if someone could help me...Thank you. L E
If you paid for it, you were ripped off.
2. Audacity would be used to capture the LP.
I never found it capable of creating an AudioCD.
3. AudioCD.
Is that what you made? If not, make one of those.

Hi All,
The software to take a string, look up that string as an album_name and get its song_list, and then apply that song_list sequentially to a 1:1 list of wave files seem pretty basic. Anyone know of anything like this?
Thanks.
