I have an issue with my internet connection and my wireless router. The connection keeps cutting off occasionally and I think the router is causing the issue. Anytime this happens, usually the modem is working perfectly fine, but the router gives all my devices (computer,PS3,etc.) the conflict even though the lights for power, internet, & WLAN all light up correctly. As a result, I often find myself resetting the router by plugging it out from the power outlet for a given amount of time. Usually, I keep it under a minute.Depending on the real cause of the issue, I may purchase a new router or switch to a new service. It's a serious issue,so what do you think?
To help,here are some details
-Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Router (lost 1 of 2 antennae,little dusty)
-Comcast High Speed Internet (6 mbps, part of "triple play")
-Arris TM502G/CT Touchstone Telephony Modem (no major issues lately)
Is known to do this under some conditions. Bit Torrent being one of them and if these are not setup like we tell in this forums top posts.
