Problem with Microsoft Office Serial code

by phsdancer37 - 6/2/09 8:55 AM

Hi! So I got a new computer a few months ago, and I have been using the trial of Office. Well it's down to the last use, and I did buy 2007 a few years ago, but here's my problem.

I tried to put in the serial code and it keeps saying that it has been used the max. times (3 times?). I know for a fact that I only used it once, and from my understanding, if I try and contact Microsoft because its been years since I bought the key, I have to pay for them to help me. So did I miss something with that. Or is it possible for me to disable the code on my former computer?

Are you sure YOUR license allows for 3 installs?

Positive it said 2 or 3. I don't really want to open it up for the final time to check. But I am certain of that.

What's funny is the 2003 license I bought, good for 5 times, I definately used like 7 or 8 times, no problem.

And you said for activation problems Microsoft support is free. Call in support or web? Thanks!
