Okay, im going to do by best to describe the situation. I tried to create a task in vista (64 bit) using the task scheduler, it was essentially an alarm in that would wake the computer from sleep, and then launch a playlist from WMP. I did not make a separate folder in the task scheduler library. and just created the task "loose" though the task did show up along with some google tasks when i had the library selected. After trying to run it however, the reference to it in the library was gone. and now every time i open the scheduler i get an error message
"The task image is corrupt or has been tampered with.Wakeup"
(Wakeup was the name i gave the task)
on top of this, under the task status pane, it shows that the task is running. i did set a time limit for the task yet it continues to run and i've run out of places to look. any ideas? or does anyone know where (or if) the task images are stored? can i erase them manually.
Thank You for the Help
