Red Hat Linux, Enterprise v4.4. How do I rotate the screen?

by ackmondual - 5/27/09 7:53 PM

On some Windows XP systems, you can press ctrl+alt up/down/left/right to flip the screen upside down, rightside up, or in portrait modes. Is there some kind of shortcut/setting/command for that for Red Hat Linux, Enterprise edition v4.4?

I'm using NVidia video driver + dual widescreen monitors that pivot.

Have you asked at the fedora forums?

Reading https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=500281 I see dates from May, 2009 so it is entirely possible that it is buggy or non-existent in v4.4

Follow the link in that bugzilla and see if the fix applies to your version.
