On MP3 Insider #146 (or 145) you guys were talking about the worst of the worst players being the Coby. It is funny because I was listening to YOUR show on the Coby MP305-4G MP3 Player and it was working just fine. Although I am a long-time podcast consumer (2006), I rarely listen to music on an MP3 player, so it fits my needs fine. I had to buy a replacement after my iRiver T30 started skipping around and ended up with the Coby.

Here is what I like about it:
* AAA battery replaceable (I use rechargeables)
* FM Radio (missing on my iRiver T30 1GB)
* Ability to delete files on the player (missing on my Sansa 2 GB)
* Integrated Headphones and lanyard - nice feature

Plus, getting 4 GB for $35 (with shipping) at Amazon was a selling point.

I know I am probably a dinosaur and the external battery is rapidly being phased out. What do people do when their charge runs out if it is internal? You have to go plug it in somewhere and wait for it to charge? I like to swap and go.

Oh well, just wanted to give some love to the little crappy Coby. Just shows there is a fan for every player.
