psp display on plasma

i have sony psp and samsung plasma series 4 model.
i have lead to attach psp to plasma.what more is to be done get display.I attach lead to plasma and psp,but nothing is appearing
on plasma screen when movie to played on psp.kindly guide.

Is the PSP sending the signal through the cable? It may be a settings in the PSP's menu that needs to be changed to actually output the signal through the wires.
