I have to say, the Molly, Rafe, Cooley (and Jason, of course) combination was awesome. Perfect chemistry, great back and forth exchanges, and just fun to listen to. Great job guys.
I have to admit, I paused the podcast to post this. Which one should really never do. With 14 minutes left, the podcast could go comically downhill. But I doubt it :P
Notice they are all "older" folks too! Long live the geriatric crowd!
This was a really great podcast. This is how BOL should be from now on--plus Tom, of course. This would have been the best BOL in history if Tom had been on.
I thought it was a great show, i just don't understand what is taking CNET so long to realize that this show could be outstanding but Natalie drags the whole thing down.
This is the kind of Natali bashing that angers me the most. It's the "Frosting on a Turd" method. It starts out positive, praising the show. But that inital positivity only serves to bait you into reading another baseless "I know what's best for the show" statement.
Seriously... enough already.
After reading this thread, I dusted off the BOL that I haven't listened to(BOL has been on the bottom of my listen list) and listened to 965. It was great and the fact that all week long it'll be this way is a cherry on top. It's back, at least for a weak, to the top of my listening list.
I love Natali, I think she's an incredible person, very smart, but I have to admit that Friday's Buzz Out Loud was one of the best for quite a while...it's why I started listening back in 2006.
Don't know what the solution is here, but there was a noticeable difference on Friday, and I liked it.
