I would like to purchase the Nikin D70s Digital Camera Body and use a Minolta lens. Is this a good idea? Thank you!
As far as i am aware the only digital slr to be compatible with Minolta lenses is the Sony A100 series I may be wrong but i think that Minolta and Nikon have totally diferent fittings on their lenses.
I have just changed over from the old Minolta 7000 to Sony A100 on the strength of lens compatibility and all appears to be running smoothly. I hope this helps
Minolta lenses that are auto focus lenses will fit the sony a100, but do not by all means try to put the minolta lens on the nikon. They are in no way compatable and damage your camera if you don't know what you are doing
I just purchased a D60 Nikon and am going to try to use my Minolta lenses using this adapter.

I am waiting for delivery of the adapter and will see what happens.
