Does anyone else feel like Tom is starting to lose his witty edge? I mean, I like Natali and all, but her deer-in-headlights moments sometimes irritates me. And in episode 963, when she said, "Tom, you're so inarticulate", that just threw me over the edge. I'm sorry. This wasn't meant to be a Nati rant, but I just feel like sharp intelligence should be nurtured and appreciated, not hampered with remarks like, "uh.. ahh.. well that is a slippery slope... speaking of singularity...".
Really? You like Natali but you post a thread like this? Really? Playoffs? PLAYOFFS?
Playoffs!?!?! Still one of my favorite Colts moments, next to the recent Superbowl win of course. Thank you for working it in, and making me LOL.
Yay, more pointless and unmerited Natali bashing. Just what we always wanted to see.
I like Natali, and I think she does a great job, but the overall chemistry between the buzz crew has definitely gone down hill quite a bit lately. I realize that some of it has to do with the audio delay since they aren't in the same studio, but I think that is probably only 50% of the problem. Sometimes people click and sometimes they don't.
This *isn't* Natali bashing. Sometimes people don't mesh well together even though they are very good individually.
Given todays segues were almost entirely the worst I've heard so far on BOL, and Natali wasn't there, maybe she actually inspires Tom in hitherforeto unrealised ways?
Really? Is this still a thing? Come on already.
Nope not at all she doesn't make Tom look dumb PLEASE quit bashing Natali it is getting old and boring.
Makes this forum dumber...
Molly and Tom were just really well paired and they bounced comments back and forth very easily. I never used to notice as many of Tom's jokes answered with confused silence as I have recently. Whether or not Molly got all the comments, there wasn't dead air after them.
What with Nat being in NYC and (usually) everyone else in SF, I think part of the issue is that you don't get the same feel as people in the same room.
We've all been on concalls where the same thing happens, how do you give someone the visual cue to talk, or you to shut up? IM doesn't work since you have to stop talking and type, so you get a bit of the conversation lag.
Although, the whole "inarticulate" comment seemed kind of dumb, as she has a bit of word salad too. Maybe it was meant to be tongue in cheek, but again, not being in the same room, it doesn't play the same, just sounded harsh.
lol or did you say "make" instead of "makes" on purpose? lol ![]()
