internet options was deleted.. how do I get it back..?
by sexytechpro - 4/26/09 12:41 AMI have a desktop Dell optiplex-G260, with a pentium 4, running win-xp, Its a family computer. somehow the internet options was deleted. when I click on the tools menu & click internet options, it shows up for a second and then its gone.... I need help.
(NT) What happens if you access it from Control Panel?

by Tufenuf - 4/26/09 8:28 PM In reply to: internet options was deleted.. how do I get it back..? by sexytechprosexytechpro, If you have Spybot Search & Destroy installed open it in Advanced mode, click Tools (left side), click IE tweaks (left side) and uncheck Lock IE control panel against opening from within IE etc.
If the above isn't applicable or doesn't correct the problem go to the link below click on "Win XP Fixes" (left side) click on "Fix Internet Options Restriction" (left column) then download the "xp_fix_internetoptions.vbs" file fix. Instructions are on the page.
