IE 8 for XP Home

by JohnIllinois - 4/25/09 2:06 PM

Is there a tutorial that shows examples of the myriad of prompts delivered by IE 8, and better yet, a description of how to disable them?

For example, every time I click the upper right hand "x" of one page in order to close it, I get a prompt that asks me if I want to close all of the pages, or just the one. I do I disable that prompt?

There is no such guide that I am aware of. For that specific prompt, however, go Tools->Internet Options->General->Tabs->Settings and uncheck the box next to "warn me when closing multiple tabs."
