Alum MacBook 2.0 v 2.4. Question.

The most intensive app I am going to run is Elgato -- watch, record, burn TV programs.
I'm not a gamer or photoshopper.
Will 2.4 provide any real advantages for my situation over 2.0?

What I learned years ago is that if I pop for the faster computer I don't replace it as soon as when I popped for the cheapest model. Maybe it was the money but the slower machine was going to obsolesce or feel like obsolesces faster.

The Elgato tuner still works fine on my PowerMac G5, and honestly most video's will play fine on a NetBook with a cheap atom processor, so I wouldn't be worried about that. Your looking at basically the same laptop between the two, so if I was you I would save the money on the 2.4Ghz processor and spend it on an aftermarket 500GB laptop drive to store more movies/tv shows.
