Clicking "Free" doesn't work

by rustywrightnm - 4/15/09 10:44 AM

I use Windows XP Pro. I searched for "convert document to pictures". I then clicked for 30 per page, then narrowed the search by clicking "Free", and clicking "Windows XP". The result was 72 selections. When I clicked on page 2, I was right back where I started after I clicked for 30 per page, with 363 results. Is there a problem with CNET Download.com? This used to work.

You want to convert document to pictures?

by FrankQC - 4/15/09 10:47 AM In reply to: Clicking "Free" doesn't work by rustywrightnm

The closest to pictures I'd think would be converting them to a .pdf. They look more professional may I add.

I have a Sharp YO-620 Electronic Organizer that I use that has a lot of documents stored on it. I have been using it for over 15 years and it looks like it is ready to bite the dust. I have been looking at a MP5 player that stores pictures so I thought I would convert my documents to pictures. I'm afraid it won't store pdfs.

Sharp YO-620 Lost Instructions

by us43137415 - 9/26/09 6:46 PM In reply to: You want to convert document to pictures? by rustywrightnm

Rusty, I also have a Sharp YO-620 for which the instructions are long gone. Do you have instructions to this particular organizer? I'm lost without them. Any instructions you have would be helpful.

Thanks!

I have probably the most antiquated pocket organizer on the planet.. it's a Sharp YO-620. Would anybody happen to have the instruction manual for it?

Clicking "Free" doesn't work

I have also tried to "Narrow the search" and anything after the first page gives you "all" results. It is the same on Windows OS Vista Xp & 98

by notclay - 4/15/09 8:33 PM In reply to: Could you try it again? by John.Wilkinson Moderator

I did a search for "screen savers" it returned 2795 results I narrowed search to "free" it gave a return of 1317 on page one. I then went to page two it gave a 2795 return. It listed all,Free, Free to try and Purchase . The Os is Vista on that test. Test two th OS is Win 98, search "photo software' 1697 results. a narrow results by "free" should return a 323 it did on page one.page two return came back with a 2661.
Thanks

I am not sure why it seemed fine in my previous test, but I reproduced the issue this time and am reporting it now so that it can be resolved in the next update.

John
