Several years ago, we had a fingerprint reader, but within less than a year after purchase, the manufacturer no longer supported it and such protection was not available. Is any really good bioprotection available, and preferably for less than $100 per item? We are home users with two startup home-office businesses.

Check their support for driver and OS version. It's less than $100.
This one sounds very useful, IF one can get it to read one's fingers correctly the first time AND on subsequent uses. Are there other recommendations?
Also, our primary computer uses Windows XP Media Center Edition, Service Pack 3. We also have two Windows Vista laptops and a Mac Mini. Whichever device we get would need to work with all three operating systems.
Thanks!

I'm only using Microsoft Fingerprint Reader on Vista 32-bit last time and I have yet install it back since I bought a new desktop. Not sure when I can install it again (free time
