Which of these technologies is best for audio/sound quality for wireless headphones?
Are any wireless headphones at least reasonably good as compared to wired phones for sound quality?
+1
I bought the Sony tmr-rf925r from Radioshack for about 80 dollars.
I bought them because i was tired of the wire from the headphone twisting up and getting caught on me or my chair.
The Sony wireless headphones i bought look great, feel great and sound great.
I use them for my computer and when i am idling between songs or video or other there is a terrible hiss sound coming over.
Unlike the wired headphones which had no hiss.
So as long as you are listening they do the job.
They are extra good because they charge when you put them in the cradle that comes with the headphones.
i have the sony mdr rf970 and they suck,,, static sometimes, but mainly just cheaply made they fall off head easily and you can hear virtually all sound right through them,, im thinking about buyiung the sony mdr6000 but i need to know if they are more secure and tight on your skull and how much better is the bas e soudn etc,,,,, anybody hear anything?????????????
I wear them mowing the lawn and such--would be nice not to have the wire to costantly fuss with, but only of they really noise-cancel or -isolate well enough to remain actually useful.
I assume the cancelling ones would also shorten battery life?
Good wireless noise-canceling would let me put the player totally away--out of the dust, drizzle, et al.
I've got some Apple Store credit I'm sitting on, wondering if I should wait a few months and buy the inevitable Bluetooth stereo headsets that will flood the store once A2P2 stereo streaming is available come the 3.0 update. I'd love to know if any of the Bluetooth Stereo phones are worth their salt.
Hi,
I've been reading alot of wireless headphones reviews on the net and it seems like most of the pairs under 100 USD get bad grades. I own a pair of Sennheiser RS 130 (rf headphones) and they sound great. If you use RF wireless you have to deal with some noise and hiss sometimes but in exchange you get freedom;). The disadvantage with IR headphones is that they only work when the light is visible, when somehing comes in the way you will loose the signal. The sound quality is pretty much the same as RF headphones I guess.
