Canon SX110 IS battery indicator

by shoshia6 - 3/22/09 11:09 AM

Hi,

I bought a new Canon SX110 IS 2 weeks ago.
When placing fully charged (rechargable) energizer NiMH 2500 mAh in it, I get the low battery indicator right away.
When placing the same batteries in my old Sony camera, the battery indicator is displayed as fully charged...
Is this a problem with my Canon or the batteries?

Try POWEREX batteries

I use POWEREX NiMH recharable batteries in my Canon SX100 IS with excellent results. They are high quality batteries made in Japan by Maha Corporation. Far superior to the batteries that you are using.

They are also not expensive, and can be easily purchased from this web site:

The Maha rechargers are also quite superior in doing a much better job at charging batteries too.
