Toshiba X205-Sli1 and gaming problems
by G.D.H. - 3/31/09 1:05 PMHi, I have a Toshiba X205-Slit with vista 32b,2.0ghz core 2 duo processor, 3gb of ddr2 ram, dual 120gb hard drives and 2 nvidia 8600m gt's running in SLI mode. I generally play games on this computer, but have problems with the processor going to 100% and causing the games to crash in the middle of playing. I have the latest drivers for the graphics cards and the highest amount of ram available in vista 32 bit. I am using direct X 10 and have pretty much done everything I can to get it to run right with games. Is there any reason my processor would go to 100% in games?
P.S. The games this happens with is Fear 2, Need for speed undercover and Fallout 3.

MSCONFIG in the Start up or Services tabs ?
Click, Start/ RUN type msconfig click OK.
Run any trusted malwar removal tools ( Malwarebytes ).
