Microsoft Office 2003 Windows XP

by Michael Yeo - 3/28/09 1:14 AM

Hi, I am from Singapore and recently tried to delete some of the items from the Add/delete program to reduce the amount of storage space taken up.

Unfortunately, I accidentally click on the Microsoft Office 2003 that was pre-installed when I purchased the computer. Now I am unable to use the latter.

I know that the easiest way is to purchase the software and download them but it is very expensive.

Is there any alternative to download the Microsoft Office 2003 Windows XP free?

I look forward to any suggestion. Thank you

No free (legal) downloads of such

Sorry about that. Didn't your computer come with recovery media or the ability to create it? Bundled MS office products should come with media. If it didn't or you lost it, the alternative might be to extract the product ID code (google "magic jelly bean" keyfinder) and borrow an OEM copy of the identical product if you can find one. You're license to use the product is still intact but you need to use the same product code for the re-installation. Good luck

It's fairly close, reads and writes Word 2003 documents. Go get it at http://www.openoffice.org
