I got an email today which said the following:
Dear Windows User,
In order to better protect your computer system, Microsoft has released a crucial update.
This upgrade applies to all systems using Windows and is available free to all Microsoft Customers.
Simply visit [[URL link edited out by admin]]and click "Open" or "Install" to install the update.
No further action is required.
We appreciate your prompt cooperation regarding this matter.

I've never gotten one before from MS and it just didn't seem right. I did a search on the file to be downloaded, WindowsUpdate.1051.1, didn't find anything on the Internet. Is this legit?

click on the links in either of the above posts. They more than likely lead to malware.
I have asked Admin to disable the links but it is a weekend so I don't know how fast they will be disabled.
To the 2 members that posted them, Anytime you get e-mails like these, delete them. Microsoft does NOT send e-mails like this.
Sorry for posting the links, I did it to show that they were different from the link in the first post and note that none let to Microsoft.
I think link that like from microsoft is just fake
