Xbox 360 Controller Charger?
by mg123456 - 1/10/09 5:11 PMI have a black xbox 360 elite so naturally all four of my controllers are black I used to use rechargeable batteries but I want to get a product that charges the controllers any ideas? I want it to be black in order to match and I want it to plug into a wall outlet.

If you're just using standard rechargeable batteries instead of disposable ones, just get any standard battery charger for AA batteries that plugs into a wall outlet.

I suppose you could probably find some USB to AC outlet adapter, but I don't know that I'd recommend it. From what I can gather, the 360 uses the communication abilities of USB to tell when the battery pack is fully charged.
So, I guess I'd just keep a spare set of batteries for each controller in your case. The play and charge kit is the only option available that I'm aware of.

Problem is, I haven't seen then in the Elite black either. I am also searching for the same as you and hope to find one soon. I left a message with Nyko about making an Elite version of their dual controller charging station.
