I just bought a new Gateway computer that came with some program or software called Big Fix. Can someone please explain to me what this does? Please treat me like a kindergartener, big, technical words confuse me!
Open the Google search engine in the link below. Type "Gateway Big Fix" in the search line and the resulting page will show you exactly what you want to know:

From one of John Wilkinson's previous posts:
"Gateway includes the BigFix software as a method of shipping out product updates, resolving problems, and providing remote support over the internet. It's designed to make life easier, but unfortunately it looks like they have yet to resolve all of the issues with Internet Explorer..."
Hope this helps.

It tells you if your Gateway Computer is up to date. It's basically a Gateway Update Program. It also helps you with issues you might have on your computer. You should keep it on your computer.
