A couple of weeks ago C-net mentioned these receivers again as "best buy's" I'm interested in a new receiver to go with my new panasonic 58pz800u, as my current receiver does not have any HDMI inputs. I originally was going to get the pioneer but then c-net said the sony was their top choice, however, if you look at the sony review done last year c-net says if you want the best audio with less HDMI's the pioneer is the better choice. It's about $150 more than the sony but is still affordable. At this point I don't know which one to go with. I don't need alot of HDMI's I only have satellite, dvd, and blue-ray so the 3 HDMI's on the pioneer should suffice. Any input? (please dont recommend other receivers I really have it narrowed down to these!) I'm kind of thinking its not going to be a big difference either way so I should probably save the money and go with the cheaper sony.
