I was wondering if anyone knew the answer to this question. I get
conflicting information from rogers.
If my husband and I were to take our blackberries to Cuba, would
we be able to take advantage of all of the features to keep in
contact? Eg., email and messageing to keep our costs low. Right
now with our sony ericsson phones the only way to keep in contact
is with very, very expensive roaming texts. Would it be any different
with blackberries? or would they always be roaming?
thank you
New myself but i here you can PIN each other blackberry to blackberry i think at no cost and unsure if this works in any country but you should look down this line it may help. good luck
You should research the 8830 World Edition. Dig further in, I'm no expert on other countries but I love mine...
Justlearning -
If you are willing to use an unlocked model with a standard SIM, there are many places to buy pre-paid international SIMS for voice and data. This would likely offer a significantly cheaper option than roaming on Rogers when you are abroad ...
I'd, however, research it just a bit - to ensure that you are getting all of your needed features.
