Macbook Sound Driver Fix Doesn't Work
by Chris_Fon - 3/1/09 5:17 AMMy sound driver still doesn't work, even after installing the Realteck HD drivers (Vista_217.exe).
What's odd is that it had previously worked. When I installed the driver BEFORE installing all the boot camp ones, it worked fine. Then I had to re-install Windows 7 and I attempted to install the sound drivers after all the boot camp ones (including the 2.1 update), and it refuses to work.
I have tried uninstalling the sound drivers manually, installing 2.17, 2.16 and 2.04 - all to no avail.
Any ideas?? I really don't want to re-install Windows 7 again!!
