Can low battery voltage cause computer to die out
by sticu - 2/28/09 9:27 PMI have a Dell Dimension 5150 and started having this Low battery voltage error pop out from two days ago and then I had a black out and the computer is not turning on ever since. There are some quick light blinking on the 'on' button but the computer is not turning on. Will replacing the battery solve this problem or is this some other problem.

Do you mean that CMOS or RTC battery?

It's a 2 dollar item. For 2 bucks you can answer this and likely cure it.
Is the machine worth it?
