I find this tool useful http://www.passbook.it/. Not as easy as autofill, but a lot safer. It is password protected so no-one but you can access it. It's very simple to set up and use and stores names alphabetically.... and it's free!
Make sure you have a very good firewall. Then start using Firefox as a browser, it'll remember passwords for each site for you.
The easiest way to remember website passwords is to use Firefox as your browser. It has an inbuilt facility to remember passwords.
For other stuff, try Roboform, it can easily be configured with your personal data and passwords, and can itself be password protected.
Firefox is free and Roboform has a limited use free version. The full version can be purchased. Just put "Firefox" or "Roboform" into your favourite search engine or follow the links;

I use 1Password on Macintosh and RoboForm on PC, could not function without them. Each is highly configurable and you can control with a master password to keep others out.
Well, I have the new Dell laptop with the fingerprint reader suite, and it's great! It stores all my passwords and logins and automatically fills em in whenever I visit a site. And for sites like PayPal, it will ask me for a master password to the fingerprint reader suite, and then it fills in my login and password for Paypal.
I have a mini-address book I use to keep all my passwords in. It is great. I would be lost without it and when I travel, it goes with me!
Here's how I solved the same problem--Roboform. Create a password, and save it on your computer in an encrypted file. Even better, use Roboform to Go, which can install on a flash drive. When a page calls for a password, create it and Roboform remembers it. Return to that page, and Roboform fills in the blanks for user name and password. It will allow you to create profiles, so you can fill in all the personal information you have to type every time a site requires you to register with one click. I've used it for several years, and never had a problem, except once when my flash drive died. So use Roboform, but back your information up.
Hi, I trust and use Roboform. I,ve been using it for years now and not had any problems,
cheers,

The answer, is simple........Robo Form.
Without which, my life,my computers,handhelds,
and form filling would collapse, from
PWSD,Pass Word Stress Disorder.
I've used it for six years, without a hitch.....
Ever!
though...I can't seem to remember my name,,,,,,,

I had good luck with RoboForm and have been using it for several years. You may try the free version, but that only keeps track of 30 or so log-ins. RoboForm Pro Keeps track of all your log-ins, but you will have to cough up $29.95 for unlimited use. RoboForm Pro integrates well into IE and Firefox browsers.
Is you purchase RoboForm you will also get a free version of RoboForm2go, software that allows you to take your log-ins with you on a flash drive. So if you travel and will be using a computer other than your own, you will still be able to use use log-ins you stored onto the flash drive.
I have been extremely pleased with the Pro version for years. It works on Internet Explorer, Firefox, Seamonkey, etc. For a complete list of supported browsers, go to "http://www.roboform.com/browsers.html"
I'm not affiliated with this company , but have owned one of their products for 3 years now . It's ROBOFORM . Don't muck about get the PRO version , you can encrypt your passwords , autogenerate new ones . If you're fortunate to have a Mac, check out 1Password. It should meet all your needs reliably and at modest cost.
I have used an application called "Splash ID" for many years on successive Palm devices. It stores hundreds of uniquely different passwords for me, all on my phone and handy to locate. If someone picks up my phone, they will need a password to get into my passwords. Under "options" the application has something called "password generator" which will give you a bulletproof password for every occasion. Splash Id works with Iphones, Blackberries, and other devices.
