by dmacneil41 - 2/20/09 5:21 PMBought this machine new for the kids...Not much on it but vista...It is the slowest machine I have ever used...I have rr high speed and yet a page takes minutes to load..Every app you get the blue circle going around for a long time before anything will start...

512 mb ddr2
Pen 4 processor
How can I make this machine work better...I am at the point that I want to throw it out the window...
I bought my son a Toshiba lap top this x-mas..It runs vista with no problem..Faster than my compaq which I still use XP..

by erimus2179 - 2/20/09 6:58 PM In reply to: Emachine T5082 Windows Vista by dmacneil41Vista's minimum req's are 1 gig of ram. Try upgrading/ increasing your ram. There's other things you can do to increase the performance too, but the RAM upgrade is a must.
