Should I...???

by marsryan - 2/12/09 8:10 PM

A friend of mine has been bugging me to let him redo my website. He is not a professional but he does have some skill. My original website is www.pksedan.com (limo services etc). He designed http://www.ranksos.com (affordable SEO) and http://www.gimmicksmile.com (Nik Fink Comic Book Art) Let me know what ya'll think about his skill level and if he can handle re-doing my website. All feedback is greatly appreciated!!!

First of all, what's your objective of redesigning? I hope it is not just for the sake of redesigning..and it serves a purpose (for a better look, for a better conversion & etc)

In term of skills, I personally think his site is not very good. It does look quite messy to me and yours look much organized. It's just my humble opinion anyway.

Your site looks good and aside from a few errors, is coded well. The code on his site is pretty bad - missing doctype, header section, use of deprecated tags. etc. No self-respecting webdesigner uses dozens of non-breaking spaces or breaks to move things around....
