Hello,
I have Vista Premium and I am constantly finding new programs on my computer which I do not need/want and some I have Googled and yet do not understand their uses.
Two in particular are: Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable and Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Compact edition.
Please, will someone simply explain the uses of these 2 programs?
Thank you,
Nissi
determine that you don't need them?
Some programs are dependent on these to be able to run. While you don't manually run them, it does not mean they are not required for other things to work.
If you start deleting programs you think you don't need, you will be back here asking why your computer won't work.
Some version of Sony's video editing software used BOTH of those from memory.
Hope this helps.
Bob
Hello Bob,
That at least gives me an idea of what their purposes are.
