Recording under fluorescent lights

by Paschelke - 2/9/09 9:09 AM

Most of our recordings are done in a gym setting under strong fluorescent lights. We had a sony handycam but got a flickering/slow motion effect, supposedly due to the lighting, on all disks created. We returned the camera. We are looking to buy a HD camcorder that will do well under fluorescent lights. Are there any suggestions out there?

Thank you,
Kristin

CAMERA FLICKER ELIMIINATION

My favorite cameras -- the Sanyo HD1000 (1080i) and and Sanyo HD1010
(1080P) -- I own both -- have an easy and quick setting for instant elimination of any flicker situation I've run into.

You may want to look at my web site www.netsurfernews.com to read about the HD1000.
