WD TV Media Center With External DVD-ROM

I Would like to replace my DVD player with a WD TV, I like use my 320GB HD and a External DVD-ROM but after plug the external DVD-ROM to the WDTV it does read the files but it not show the them, does any one has any idea for solve this problem ?

I don't think that's what the WD media unit is for. It's for video files on the harddrive. From what I understand, it will not show copy protected material either.

Dvd-rom uses the UDF filesystem, which is not one of the filesystem that the WD unit can handle.
