I have a Dell D-Bay battery in my d620 and it exploded inside the laptop. The keyboard popped up and base expanded down. It expanded so tight the laptop lid wont close. I have photos and would love to post them if someone can tell me where.
Be sure to get your new laptop. But then again there are some that only want to parade around the battery failures and not get Dell to replace it.
What's the real goal here?
Bob
PS. The battery recalls made the news already.
the D-Bay battery is the battery that goes into the Bay where the CD drom goes. They are not part the old Battery recall.
There are subject to the same type failures. Be sure to call it in and begin the process.
