Compatible RAM Upgrades
by Chris_Fon - 2/3/09 5:03 AMGot an old laptop that came with DDR 333MHz RAM installed and I wish to upgrade it. Would my motherboard be compatible with higher speeds or DDR2 RAM because DDR PC2700 is shockingly expensive.
Also, does anyone has a good link for computer models and compatible RAM.

by Phil Crase - 2/3/09 6:24 AM In reply to: Compatible RAM Upgrades by Chris_FonDo a Crucial memory scan and see what the recommendations are. You should be able to go to DDR3200 with no problems but run the memory test from Crucial and then you will know for sure.
